About the role: We are seeking a highly experienced and self-motivated Communications Manager to join our Marketing and Communications team on a maternity-leave cover contract, commencing 3 December 2024 until 14 November 2025. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will ensure that all internal and external communications are crafted to the highest standard and truly reflect the College's ethos and values.
Under the broad direction of the Director of Marketing, Communications and Events, the successful candidate will manage a diverse range of communication activities aimed at enhancing Trinity College's reputation as a leading academic institution. Responsibilities will include overseeing the production of written material for both print and digital communications across the College.
Skills & Experience: We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate a strong background in a senior communications role, complemented by tertiary qualifications in Communications, Professional Writing, Journalism, Editing, or Public Relations. With at least five years of senior experience, you will have a proven track record in developing effective communications for a variety of audiences. Your ability to create compelling print and digital content, along with your editing and journalistic skills, will be crucial to your success in this position. Building effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organisation is essential.
Salary Range: This is a maternity-leave cover contract, 0.8 FTE to full-time depending on the successful candidate's preference. Band Level 4, FTE $100,000 - $110,000 plus 17.5% leave loading and 11.5% superannuation.
