We now have an exciting opportunity to join our Sustainability and Corporate Affairs team as a Communications Manager supporting the Finance and Technology and Legal and Governance divisions in our Sydney or Melbourne office on a permanent basis.
Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Communications, this role provides strategic business partnering to APA's Chief Financial Officer and Group General Counsel and Company Secretary and is responsible for the development, planning and execution of the employee communications strategy across the respective divisions.
Key Responsibilities Provide clear advice on best practice employee comms strategies and tacticsDevelop and deliver the communications strategy and plan for Technology and Finance and Legal and Governance divisionsWork with senior management to build and implement employee communications solutions in line with the business strategyDevelop and support key campaigns of work that result in a positive impact on employee engagement, including key change programs of workCreate content that tells a compelling story for use across a variety of internal channels: intranet, website, and presentationsUse data to continually evaluate and measure effectiveness of communications plans and activities to drive continual improvement and return on investmentDevelop and maintain strong and collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders across the businessEstablish and maintain employee communication systems and processesYour Background Extensive experience in managing corporate communications activities within large organisationsDeep experience in organisational change communicationsDemonstrated experience in a corporate communications function where you have drafted clear, concise, and compelling content for communications programmes and activitiesSound stakeholder management skills and ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders to engage with a wide range of employees, stakeholders, and leadersStrong ability to proactively identify key reputational risks to the business, as well as activities that can build reputationAble to develop PowerPoint presentations, key messages, and content for scripts and internal communications engagementsWorking at APA
