Communications Director

PR Communications Director opportunity - Sydney or Melbourne location. Hello, our award-winning client is looking for an experienced Communications Director who's collaborative and has an entrepreneurial spirit to bring to the team. You'll be a strategic and creative PR leader, who also has strong media relations experience to help fuel their clients ambitious reach goals. The role & you: You'll be a strategic thinker who's also able to deliver on their thinking You'll be responsible for successful delivery and quality of clients' communications programs and associated content/materials You'll be able to handle to financial side of running your clients with scoping out jobs and working to timelines You love leading your clients business and can connect deeply with stakeholders at all levels You will have a finger on the pulse of the news agenda and trends across clients' industries able to ideate and strategise best earned approaches You are as creative as you are strategic and able to manage your clients accounts with the support of the team (we aren't asking for much, but we know the right person loves it all!) Your skills /experience: 6-7 + years experience working in a similar comms position, ideally in an agency environment Able to provide counsel across a range of PR and strategic communications activities Proven ability to manage and motivate a team Strong knowledge of the media and what makes news and how to work with media Excellent writing skills across all mediums with a strong attention to detail If this sounds like you we'd love to chat!
