About the role: Under the direction of the Marketing and Engagement Manager and the Alumni and Stakeholder Engagement Manager, the Communications Coordinator will assist in the planning and delivery of communications at Leadership WA, to support our position as the State's premier leadership development organisation.
You will play a vital role in delivering an integrated marketing and communications plan:
Promoting relevant content, activities and opportunities across a range of communication channels, with a focus on recruitment for Leadership WA Programs and Courses.Engaging key stakeholders, including the Alumni network comprising of over 1300 leaders. Supporting in the planning, implementing and reviewing of marketing campaigns, to ensure Leadership WA's communications successfully represent the organisation's brand.Creating greater awareness and brand recognition of Leadership WA through storytelling including written and digital pieces and media opportunities.Working as part of a close-knit team, the Communications Coordinator will creatively and collaboratively support the successful implementation of brand engagement. You will enjoy the interactive nature of this role, working with a team of leadership development specialists, while liaising with a committed and passionate community of leaders across the corporate, not-for-profit, small business and government sectors.
About you What you will bring to the role:
Creative thinking with well-developed skills in writing and communications with the ability draft, edit and proof high-quality communications for external audiences including e-newsletters, web content, publications, media releases, news stories and social media posts.A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to develop and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all levels.An ability to work productively, both independently and in collaboration with the team.Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure with flexibility and agility to manage competing (and changing) timelines.Well-developed knowledge of the digital and online marketing landscape, including digital advertising and SEO.Creative and design ability, including experience with the Adobe Creative Suite and Canva (desirable)What we offer you Supportive team environment with hybrid and flexible working options, subject to operational needs.On the job learning and professional development opportunities.Opportunity to work closely with prominent WA leaders.
