Our much-loved riverfront precinct is activated by retail, events and world-renowned facilities that host around 14 million visitors a year, and the Customer Experience team is front and center in delivering the events, and the marketing and communications for the precinct, that surprise and delight those visitors.
The role:
The Communications Coordinator role reports to the Communications Manager and is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of high-quality, corporate and customer-focused communication and engagement outcomes across South Bank's projects, programs, activities, events and operations. It requires an experienced person who is a quick and capable writer, is used to working with and pitching to media, has some exposure to best-practice internal communications and can work independently.
You'll ideally be creative, solutions focused, able to juggle multiple priorities and enjoy working as part of a dynamic team.
Key responsibilities include: Preparation of a range of relevant, responsive and engaging corporate, customer and stakeholder communication materialsDevelopment and delivery of key internal communication platforms including intranet and Corporation electronic direct mail Crafting, delivery and moderation of Corporation LinkedIn contentPitching editorial opportunities to media outletsSupervising photo shoots, outside broadcasts and other media and promotional opportunities Skills & Experience Tertiary qualifications in Communication, Business, Marketing or relevant field At least three years' experience in a similar role (in communication or stakeholder engagement)Strong Microsoft Office skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsIAP2 qualification well regardedTeam player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectivelyExcellent attention to detail, accuracy and a passion for getting things done How to apply Please provide the following information to South Bank to assess your suitability:
