An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Communications Coordinator to join our small but tight knit Marketing and Communications team.

As our Communications Coordinator you will be responsible for the planning and execution of internal and external communications to achieve the strategic objectives of Helping Hand.
You will have the opportunity to work across both external and internal communications, however this role has a stronger focus on internal communication with our large community of staff, residents, clients and their representatives.
You'll also make an impact by: Developing, implementing and evaluating internal and external communication plans in line with Helping Hand's strategic plan and brand guidelines.
Working with internal and external stakeholders to research, write and edit content for a range of channels and audiences, supporting the communication of key messages.
Ensuring that all dealings with the media, service providers and the community are performed at a professional level, to project a positive image of Helping Hand.
What you'll bring To succeed in this role, you will have: Minimum of two to three years working within a communications role in a medium to large organisation.
Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, public affairs (or equivalent experience).
A comprehensive knowledge of the principles of internal and external communications is essential.
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and deadlines to a high standard of accuracy and consistency.
Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one You'll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following: Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the aged care sector.
An understanding of the principles of project management.
