Position Profile
Communication Consultants play a major role in developing, managing, delivering and evaluating communication strategies to achieve WA Health priorities. The positions work closely with senior executives as part of a business partnering service that may include:
Media liaison, both reactive and proactive, including outside normal working hours and participation in an on-call rosterDeveloping and implementing stakeholder engagement strategiesDeveloping communication objectives, strategies and tactics for both internal and external audiencesPreparing publications, speeches, feature articles, and web-based informationCoordinating eventsDeveloping community education and awareness campaigns, including liaising with external marketing and advertising agencies.Some out of hours work may be required.
