Opportunity is calling as we seek a Communications Centre – Team Leader to join our team on a full-time basis.

As the Communications Centre – Team Leader, you will play a key role in our Hotel, monitoring the operations of the Guest Services department. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will support and guide a talented team of Communications Agents. As a service ambassador, you will respond to all communication (including phone calls and emails) in a caring manner and promptly attend to guests' requests and hotel enquiries.
Responsibilities Include: The responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and supervision of colleagues working in the Guest Services departmentHandling customer queries and complaints with professionalism and a caring mannerA demonstrated understanding of the Hotel matrix and facilitiesCoordination of the department operation, ensuring guest expectations are met and exceededBe familiar with all vouchers, group billing, and OPERA cashiering proceduresAssisting in the maximisation of colleague productivity through training, enhanced skills, knowledge, and directionOur Ideal Candidate will possess: Prior experience in a similar environmentStrong computer skills and experience with OPERA Property Management SystemExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA passion for delivering a high level of guest serviceA professional and warm telephone mannerProven leadership skills and the ability to work as a team playerValid working rights in AustraliaThe availability to work 38 hours per week on a rotating, 7-day roster (including daytime, evening, and weekend shifts)
