About the opportunity The Communications Business Partner is responsible for the delivery of quality communications consultancy services to the business in an environment that is both complex and changing.
With a specialist focus on supporting the People & Culture division, including safety communications, the role requires a strong focus on high-level strategic advice and the creation and implementation of proactive communication engagement strategies and plans, and high-level content creation for both internal and external stakeholders.
This collaborative role provides corporate communications expertise through extensive and relevant experience, specialised industry knowledge and contemporary communications best practice to successfully navigate the current and future industry challenges to assist Executives, Senior Leaders and business units to effectively meet their objectives.
Key role objectives Provide specialised corporate communications to the People & Culture division, including high quality, responsive safety communications across the business.
Partner and consult with Executive, Senior Leaders and other functional groups throughout the business to provide proactive, high-level strategic communications and engagement advice, content creation and support.
Develop and implement innovative and contemporary communication and engagement plans to achieve desired outcomes in a complex and changing environment.
Develop timely and relevant content for core Corporate Communications channels and management of communication channels.
Create quality communications materials, utilising advanced writing skills, videography and publishing abilities.
Create and manage multiple key business-wide and departmental communication programs and projects that support our strategic and culture change aspirations.
Essential role requirements Degree qualifications in a communications-related discipline (communications, marketing, public relations) or equivalent skills & knowledge gained through experience.
Experience in corporate communications in a private sector or government environment.
