The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines. The opportunity

As the Communications and Stakeholder Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on and manage communications and engagement of organisational and contracted stakeholders, health agencies and community interests on the largest health infrastructure development in Australia, the Parkville Precinct Redevelopment (PPR).Reporting to the Director, Communications and Stakeholder Management (PPR) and working from within the project team itself, you will play a lead role in the planning and implementation of communication and engagement strategies for the project. This includes the facilitation of community and stakeholder consultation workshops, media and issues management, and content development. The successful candidate will work as part of a vibrant, energetic and supportive team. You will have professional development opportunities, work/life balance, hybrid working and a clear career pathway management. What you will bring:

Contribute to targeted stakeholder and community engagement, media and issues management, event management as well as content development. Create project plans where objectives are clearly defined to meet project expectations, regularly communicate with and support project and creative services team members; ensure project objectives are met by anticipating and managing potential and emerging issues. Identify and manage project-related risk and issues, providing authoritative advice on how to manage risks and developing mitigation strategies. Provide an account management approach and demonstrate strong client services capabilities to a range of internal teams and key stakeholders. Lead the planning and delivery of a range of stakeholder and community engagement activities, including information and consultation sessions, surveys and facilitated workshops.
