We value the importance of balance between work and family life and promote this philosophy throughout the company.We are seeking an experienced Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Advisor to join our team on the Inland Rail Albury to Parkes Enhancement Project. This role will service our key project areas including Forbes, Wagga Wagga, and Albury throughout the life of the project.The ideal candidate for this role will be personable, enjoy working with others and engaging with the local community, and be flexible to travel to service the project area and attend meetings and events as required.About the RoleLiaise with owners, leaseholders, tenants, and occupiers of land impacted by the Contractor's Activities or the Works.Prepare community notifications and construction updates and attend community events.Ensure all works notifications and project collateral use the client branded templates.Draft Communications Actions Plans for planned and unplanned construction works.Obtain all permissions and approvals from relevant owners, leaseholders, tenants, and authorities for changes to land, access, or property infrastructure.Manage on-call 24/7 enquiries to address community and stakeholder issues.Record all interactions in Consultation Manager database within 48 hours of events occurring.Manage engagement with owners, leaseholders, tenants, and occupiers of land potentially affected by the Works or the Contractor's Activities.Contribute to the delivery of the Social Delivery Management Plan.Skills and Experience:2+ years experience in a similar role.Experience working on a major rail or infrastructure project is highly regarded.Recognised tertiary qualifications in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline are highly regarded.Experience in copywriting, digital & website content management, advertising, and event coordination is highly regarded.Tech-savvy – confident using Microsoft 365 and adaptable to new software.About You:Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.Proven ability in developing and implementing community involvement strategies and plans.Advanced time management, planning, and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines, and consistently deliver on commitments.Ability to engage in effective communication with a wide range of stakeholders.Display initiative and have a proactive approach to delivering the role.
