Details: The Environment, Planning and Sustainable Development directorate (EPSDD) Communication, Engagement & Media team is looking for a passionate communications and engagement professional to join our team. This position will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver strategic communications and engagement projects across a range of interesting and challenging topics.EPSDD is responsible for a wide range of policies and programs within the ACTPS, including climate change policy, energy policy, nature and wildlife conservation, environment protection policy, water policy, strategic and statutory planning, development approvals, building policy, land policy, and heritage protection and restoration. The Directorate also includes the ACT Parks and Conservation Service which manages nature reserves, national parks, commercial softwood forests and rural lands to ensure Canberra provides open and safe space to our community.This is an exciting opportunity to strengthen your communications and engagement skills, develop targeted and engaging content for a variety of audiences, work with subject matter experts across a range of topics, and gain exposure to the diverse and rewarding work being delivered across the directorate.We are seeking a highly organised and driven individuals to join our dynamic team of communication professionals. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. This position will be moving to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW).
