Communications Administrator - Safety

Details of the offer

We are looking for a dynamic individual to support our safety team who are responsible for positively impacting Health, Safety & Environmental outcomes within the Transport and Infrastructure Business.
This newly created Communications Administrator - Safety role based at our Qantas Drive site in Brisbane, will take charge of implementing an improved and consistent approach to communications within the internal safety team as well as the wider Downer Transport and Infrastructure business unit. The successful candidate will play a key part in enhancing and promoting safety messaging across the business as well as provide administrative support on projects and initiatives required to be delivered as part of the safety strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Development of key communication and marketing material.
Development and management of key SharePoint pages.
Assistance with the core strategic plan elements and identified initiatives.
Events coordination and personal assistance to the trans-Tasman safety leadership team.
Provide administrative support, including when required any safety systems administration.

ABOUT YOU

Previous experience in the development and implementation of communication campaigns to promote stakeholder engagement.
Sound understanding of SharePoint development (essential) and PowerBI (desirable).
Intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Create Cloud (highly desirable).
Creative person with an ability to present core topics and reports in a creative impactful manner.
Proven ability to establish relationships, build rapport and deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders/clients.
High level of self-awareness, exceptional interpersonal skills including communication (verbal, written and active listening).
High attention to detail, including striving for excellence.
Solution and goal oriented, enthusiastic about what you do; completing tasks with excellence and always looking forward to the next challenge.
Demonstrated ability to self-manage time, resources and focus on supporting achievement of projects, activities and business initiatives to achieve success.
