Communication & Engagement Officer (Temporary) A vibrant coastal community, connected to the environment, living the village lifestyle.
The Position: COMMUNICATION AND ENGAGEMENT OFFICER – TEMPORARY
Status: Full-time temporary parental leave cover for an initial period of 9 months
Salary Package: Base salary of $78,000.00 p.a., plus up to 16.5% Superannuation and additional benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
Increase community awareness of Shire initiatives and milestones Support employees delivering projects and services for the community by providing communication and strategy advice and content Manage all media queries for the organisation About You:
Can improve the quality of communication and engagement with the community by moving the organisation towards a best practice approach. Can improve community satisfaction with Shire consultation, openness and transparency, and the communication of a clear vision. Will work hard to enhance existing relationships within the community and foster new relationships. Able to build a positive social media presence to demonstrate that Denmark is an excellent place to live, work and visit. Is proficient with social media applications.
