Communication Consultant– Perth based F/T Vescient's family is growing.

The Position We are eager to connect with Communications specialists with experience in designing and delivering communications strategies, plans, products and tools in support of organisational transformations, and marketing initiatives.
Our business operates across a broad industry base, and we support clients with a variety of communications needs.
Many of our projects are set within complex organisational and digital transformation in evolving environments across the energy, resources, defence and government sectors.
We also support clients in these sectors compete and tender for work which includes marketing and graphic design solutions which we deliver in house.
The position will also have some internal communications and marketing activities.
For this role you will be working within various client settings which will require you to gain or have a Defence Security Clearance.
If you don't currently have a clearance please still apply as we will support you to gain one, however you will need to be an Australian Citizen.
Project work locations will be a mix of work from our Perth office and from our client's sites as required.
Ability to gain and retain a Defence Security Clearance Essential Capabilities, Behaviours, Skills or Experience Exhibit behaviours aligned to Vescient's values of Integrity, Courage, Teamwork, Respect, Initiative, Leadership and Loyalty. Minimum 5 years of experience developing, leading and implementing communications strategies, product development and outcomes for businesses.
Degree qualified, preferably in communications, marketing, media, or related field.
Demonstrated stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop the content and lead communications activities across various multimedia tools and channels.
Demonstrated experience developing risk assessments for communication strategies to validate and define communication options and correct definition of appropriate themes and messages for campaigns to achieve desired outcomes with assurance.Ability to develop marketing strategies and content across digital platforms and for print media in support of business development activities.Demonstrated experience in managing the impacts of culture as it relates to communications objectives and product development.
Demonstrated ability to develop communications products for both technical and non-technical stakeholders and audiences across multiple levels of large organisations.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multiple project delivery methodologies.
Demonstrated ability and desire to flex into complementary areas of practice (e.g.
change management, business improvement, project management) to successfully deliver customer outcomes.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Desirable Skills or Experience Certifications in change management or business improvement methodologies.
Certifications in coaching and / or training design and delivery.
Experienced in leading stakeholder engagement and communications activities in a complex external context, preferably in the infrastructure or resources industry and on major projects.
Ability to deliver strategic through to tactical communications content and advice.
Analytical and detail-oriented communications skills with the ability to interpret and convey complex messaging in an engaging way to a wide variety of stakeholders.
Be an effective oral communicator capable of conveying complex issues across a range of stakeholders.
Possess strong interpersonal and listening skills and the ability to make sound, practical, logical, and balanced judgements.
Experience in developing marketing budgets.
Experience with different marketing technologies and approaches.
Demonstrated understanding of legislation which governs marketing activities.
