Our client is seeking a skilled Communications Professional to join a growing team focused on a major government infrastructure project on the Sunshine Coast.
This role offers flexible working hours , with core hours of 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday , making it a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to balance work and personal commitments.

This position is ideal for professionals with experience in Infrastructure and stakeholder communications, who are comfortable working in a project-based environment.
Key Responsibilities: Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring clear, transparent communication throughout the project's lifecycle.
You will be the main point of contact for all communications-related inquiries.
Communications Strategy: Lead the development and execution of communication plans, tailored to meet the needs of the project and its various stakeholders.
Content Creation: Produce high-quality communications materials including project reports, newsletters, press releases, brochures, and presentations.
These materials will be used internally, externally, and for community engagement.
Media and Public Relations: Coordinate media relations, responding to inquiries, and ensuring all media communications are consistent with the project's messaging.
You may also be involved in creating content for public information campaigns or events.
Community Engagement: Support engagement activities, including information sessions, workshops, and public meetings, ensuring that local communities are informed and consulted.
Project Team Support: Provide communications and engagement support to the broader project team, assisting with internal and external communications coordination, reporting, and event management.
About You: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communications , particularly in infrastructure and major projects sectors.
You will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in stakeholder engagement and public relations is essential, with a demonstrated ability to manage communications in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Minimum of 5 years in a similar communications role.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work across diverse teams and with senior management.
A degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field would be highly regarded.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.
