As a Communication Advisor at Swyftx, your role is more than just a job. This is an opportunity to help propel our growth into new products and international markets by supporting our internal and external communications. You will have an instrumental role in keeping our staff informed, engaged, and aligned with Swyftx's strategic goals. Additionally, the Communication Advisor will assist in media relations, award submissions, and event support, contributing to Swyftx's reputation and visibility in the industry.
Please note that this is a Brisbane-based role and we have hybrid working, with two days per week in our beautiful Milton office and 3 days per week where you can choose to work from home or come into the office, pending your preferences. Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include:Ensure that team members have ample touch points across various channels, including our intranet, email, and Slack, while continuously refining our internal communications strategy to enhance engagement and clarity.Own and manage our intranet, ensuring it's a central hub for all things Swyftx, keeping everyone in the loop with the latest company updates.Manage and maintain an internal communication calendar, ensuring timely delivery of key messages and alignment with organisational priorities.Support on daily media monitoring and reporting to the business.Draft and distribute media releases, statements, and briefing notes as needed.Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts in the crypto sectors.Research, identify, and manage our calendar for key industry awards and individual recognition opportunities.Lead the preparation and submission of compelling award applications that showcase Swyftx's achievements and innovation.Provide communication support for internal and external events as needed, including drafting event materials, coordinating messaging, and assisting with logistics.To ensure success in this role, you should possess:Demonstrated experience in a communications role, with a strong focus on internal communications.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.A strategic mindset with the ability to understand the bigger picture and how communication supports our business goals.The ability to understand and adapt to different types of messaging, ensuring that each communication piece captures the appropriate tone of voice to effectively resonate with diverse audiences.Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, quickly adjusting to new challenges and opportunities.Strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively with teams across the business to achieve our communication goals.Some of our perks and benefits include:Unlimited fee-free tradingAn in-house baristaHybrid workingCareer growth, training, mentorship, and development opportunitiesSocial activities, game breaks and recognition awardsFully stocked kitchen, breakfast and lunch foods, unlimited fresh fruit and snacksWeekly catered lunches on a Wednesday$100,000 - $130,000 a year
