ROLE SUMMARY
This Commonwealth Government Lead is a key member of our commercial team and plays a vital role in expanding our reach and relationships with the Commonwealth Government.
You will build and deliver trusted partnerships and deliver a broad base of high-value opportunities across your key target agencies and departments.
This role will be a valued member of the Leadership team and reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.
Key focus areas are:

Successfully source, qualify and convert government opportunities
Grow existing accounts through value-based consultative selling

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning and execution of a Commonwealth government commercial strategy to drive sales and revenue growth.
Fostering close connections across government, tailored by the knowledge of customer requirements and the value of a long term Geoscape partnerships.
Qualifying, developing and closing opportunities with a focus on the delivery of additional value to customers.
Collaborating with Executive, Sales, Solution Consulting, Customer Success, Marketing and Product Teams to support our operations.
Advocating for the needs of the customer in the development and delivery of Geoscape capability
Building and managing an accurate sales pipeline for opportunities.
Developing a deep understanding of our products and capabilities and how to represent their value to customers and prospects.
Generating new leads and opportunities through targeted prospecting activities.
Delivering compelling presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.
Developing and accurately recording customer insights based on your research and sales interaction.
Developing and maintaining a sales plan for key customers.
Pursuing additional business development opportunities with current and new customers.
