Reporting to the General Manager Engineering Delivery, you will drive the overall DevSecOps transformation roadmap, lead engineering delivery teams on automation and transition efforts while uplifting engineering skills and culture in alignment with our Agile ways of working (PACE) and DevSecOps principles.
Your Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive DevSecOps transformation roadmap aligned with the bank's overall technology strategy Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure buy-in and support for the transformation initiatives Drive cultural change to promote DevSecOps practices and mindset across the organisation Lead and mentor engineering teams to implement DevSecOps best practices, tools and automation Oversee the transition of existing systems and processes to align with DevSecOps principles Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the success and progress of the transformation We're interested in hearing from people who have experience in: Designing and implementing training programs to uplift engineering skills in DevSecOps practices Fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation and collaboration Aligning engineering practices with Agile ways of working (PACE) and DevSecOps methodologies Ensuring security is embedded throughout the SDLC and driving the adoption of security-as-code practices across engineering teams Skills Required: Background in software engineering ideally gained in a complex enterprise environment Well versed in DevOps tools and practices, along with a deep understanding of modern software development including security principles Strong leadership qualities and strategic thinking to deliver on agreed objectives Ability to communicate transformation progress, challenges and successes to all levels of the organisation Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with both engineering and security teams This is an exciting and unique opportunity to lead a transformative initiative at Australia's largest bank, shaping the future of our engineering practices and driving innovation in the financial services sector.
