The Company
Our client is an established, independent commodity broking firm that works with a number of growers across the Northern and Central West NSW region to source product for their exporters and end users.
They source a variety of Grains, Pulses, Cotton, and Oilseed and provide a broad range of services to stakeholders within the commodity trading sector.
They have a number of long-term customers and continue to grow their footprint, and due to this have an exciting opportunity to join their team.

The Role:
Reporting to the leadership team, as a Commodity Merchant you will liaise with stakeholders including growers, traders, end users, and logistic providers to broker deals and ensure contract execution.
In addition, you will:

Assist in researching market trends and industry information.
Assist in contract execution and updating internal records.
Regularly visit and speak with existing and new clients.
Develop market reports.
The Person:
To be successful in this role you will have experience working at a farmgate level or in a similar commodity trading role.
Ideally, you will have suitable qualifications in the agribusiness or business sector, and have a passion for the agricultural industry.
You will be a naturally outgoing person, with an attention to detail and highly self-motivated.
The ideal candidate will be located within the Northern NSW region with flexibility provided based on experience level and ability to work autonomously.
