This position will be responsible for all aspects of the commissioning of substations and shall ensure successful delivery of projects. You will support in scheduling, planning and executing commissioning activities.In this role, you will be responsible for:Commissioning of Primary and Secondary equipment within a substation;Assist the Design Office to prepare and develop HV system designs for projects and bids under preparation.Create FAT and SAT documentation for installations to be commissioned.Carry out pre-commissioning tests and commissioning of new and refurbished parts and systems.Manage and supervise on-site work in accordance with project requirements and legislative and regulatory requirements.Provide timely "As Built" documentation.This position is based from our Doncaster Office and travel to construction sites across Australia will be required.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will possess:Qualifications in an Electrical Trade or Associate Diploma or Electrical Engineering Degree;Significant Ausnet/VESI/Electricity Supply Industry(ESI) experience in commissioning;Relevant training in line with VESI and AusNet requirements;Be proficient in the operation of Doble secondary injection test equipment.Be comfortable with travel and working outside of Melbourne;Considerable people leadership and management experience (including the management of teams);Experience in developing tenders, negotiating contracts and effectively managing customer relationships;Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.Why Join Us? At CPP our people are our most important asset.
