ECS is looking for a Commissioning Manager to join their Sydney team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing guidance and oversight for the commissioning management of the installation, testing, and commissioning of building services systems, plant, and/or equipment across multidisciplinary projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare commissioning plans and other process documents for the management of the commissioning of building services systems, including (but not limited to) mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, fire, and BMCS systems.Review services design and intent and advise design teams on items that may affect commissioning and interpret and prepare commissioning programs.Work with a variety of stakeholders including clients, design teams, and contractors.Project management activities including job costing, creation of work schedules, and workload management.Assisting with business development activities, supporting the development and growth of ECS.Who we're looking forA relevant tertiary qualification.Engineering experience across the project lifecycle, with a well-developed understanding of project stages and delivery methods.Previous experience delivering construction projects through commissioning, acceptance, and into occupation.Demonstrated communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Ability to exercise substantial initiative and high-level judgment and to work independently to meet objectives.Understanding of the requirements and intent of the CIBSE Commissioning Codes, BSRIA Application Guides, ASHRAE Guidelines, and other relevant commissioning codes and guidelines.Understanding of the process and relevant criteria required to achieve all relevant Green Star credit points.Training and DevelopmentAs part of NDY, ECS has a strong focus on your development.
