Job Description Your New Opportunity: As one of our Commissioning Electricians, you'll work to get new and keep existing Power Generation systems up and running! Joining the team in Wacol you'll use your skills to work on premium brands and exciting new technologies with OEM training and the ability to build both your skills and career!
What you'll do: Coordinate and complete various jobs on Energy Solutions products including directing subbies.Assemble, factory-test, diagnose, repair, install, commission and service our Energy Solutions products, especially Battery Energy Storage Systems, but also large Diesel and Gas Generators and Rotary UPS, including their control and auxiliary systems.Work closely with customers, consultants, partners and internal teams to ensure we deliver to the highest standard of customer satisfaction.Perform FAT and SAT activities, complete commissioning and test documentation to ensure handover is smooth.About you: Trade qualification – Cert III in Electrotechnology and Full Electrical Licence.Prior experience with electrical diagnostics, fault-finding, modifications and the installation and commissioning of complex mech./electr. systems.Sound knowledge of power and their auxiliary systems, controls, instrumentation and switchgear.Experience with microgrids, renewable energy or storage systems is a plus.A background in Power Generation applications preferred, however training available for the right candidate.Easily work independently, but just as happy working in a team.Have effective communication and teamwork skills, and actively promote Penske's values and purpose.About Us: Penske Australia is the go-to destination for diesel and gas engines, power systems & heavy vehicles.
