As a Commis Chef team at The Star Gold Coast, you will be given the opportunity to work alongside some of the best Chefs across one of our many outlets!
A few of your responsibilities: Responsible for the smooth execution of your allocated work-stationFollow directions of the senior kitchen teamAdvise management of all stock requirementsConduct on-the-job training and mentoring for Cooks and Apprentice ChefsWhat are we looking for: Certificate in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)Flexible availability to work mornings, nights and public holidaysPrevious experience working in a busy high-end kitchenThe ability to effectively and efficiently coordinate and work as part of the teamHave a "can do" attitude and willingness to learn new cuisines and techniquesAbout you: With your passion for career growth in Culinary, this role will allow you to learn alongside some of the most passionate chefs in the industry.
