Job DescriptionOaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort is currently looking for a Full-time Commis Chef to join our team at our Oaks and Vine restaurant.
Key Responsibilities Include: Prepare and cook high quality foodSupervise and train kitchen staffAssist in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishesHelp to create good communication between FOH and BOHKeep the kitchen organized and cleanQualificationsTo be successful in this role you will need to: Hold relevant Certificate III in cookery qualifications and have previous experience in a similar role.Have knowledge about Modern Australian CuisineHave knowledge and understanding of HACCP and OH&SBe flexible to work a range of different shifts, including weekends.Be able to work under pressure within a dynamic team environment.Be able to coach and motivate less experienced members of the kitchen team.Be self-motivated and able to work without supervision.Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Additional InformationJoin our positive and vibrant team and be rewarded with these team benefits:
