About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Full Time Commis Chef to join our team. As Commis Chef you will play a crucial part in our kitchen's success, contributing to the creation of dishes that delight our guests across the busy café, sports bar, cocktail bar, and conferences. If you are passionate about the art of cooking and are eager to work in a dynamic and creative culinary environment, we want to hear from you. The candidate will work in all sections, in both kitchens, being given a great opportunity to develop their career under a fantastic head chef and larger management team. Values and attitude are key. Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and production of various dishes. Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality. Maintain a clean and organised workspace. Learn and develop culinary skills under the guidance of senior chefs. Assist in the receiving and storage of food and supplies. About You: Culinary degree or relevant culinary training is preferred. 2 years experience in a similar role in a high volume restaurant environment or upmarket pub is an advantage. A passion for culinary arts and creativity in the kitchen. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
