Job Description
We're seeking a skilled Commercial Manager to lead our commercial operations and ensure the success of our projects. With your expertise and strategic vision, you'll play a pivotal role in maximising profitability and driving sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management: Lead the negotiation, review, and management of contracts to secure favourable terms and mitigate risks.
Cost Control: Implement robust cost control measures to optimize project budgets and minimize expenses.
Revenue Enhancement: Identify opportunities to enhance project revenue through value engineering, change management, and contract variations.
Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis and forecasting to assess project viability and identify financial risks and opportunities.
Claims Management: Effectively manage claims and disputes to protect our interests and minimize financial liabilities.
Required Skills and Competencies
Front-end / pre-contracts commercial management
Extensive experience with diverse contract models including D&C, ITC, and alliance contracts
Proven track record in pre-contracts and delivery for projects valued at $1 billion or more
Demonstrated expertise in managing and negotiating pre-contracts in large-scale projects
Strong understanding of various contract models and their applications
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Law, or Finance
