We are seeking an experienced (3+ PAE) Commercial Lawyer to join our team and contribute to our firm's continued success.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial law, with expertise in areas such as M&A transactions, capital raising, leasing, lending, general commercial contract review and drafting.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of cases alongside the firm's Managing Director and collaborating closely with clients to achieve their business objectives.
Responsibilities: Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of commercial matters, including contract drafting and negotiation, corporate restructuring, and regulatory compliance.Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure accuracy and relevance in advising clients on complex legal issues.Represent clients in commercial disputes and litigation proceedings.Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop effective legal strategies and solutions tailored to specific business needs.Stay informed of developments in commercial law and industry trends to provide proactive and strategic advice to clients.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognised institution; admission to practice law in Australia is essential.Minimum of 3 years' experience practicing commercial law, with a focus on transactional work and commercial litigation.Strong understanding of Australian corporate law, commercial contracts, and regulatory frameworks.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services to clients.Must have a sense of humour.If you are a motivated and experienced Commercial Lawyer looking for a new challenge, we are motivated to hear from you.
