Venues NSW is a commercially focused agency of the NSW Government, encompassing the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium as well as major sporting and cultural stadiums and precincts in Sydney, Olympic Park, Parramatta, Newcastle and Wollongong. The network of stadiums and entertainment centres hosts in excess of 5 million people a year at more than 500 events and is a key contributor to the economy.
Venues NSW takes an integrated approach to our stadia and entertainment centres by developing partnerships with sporting codes, the entertainment and event industry, audiences, local businesses, NSW Government agencies and community groups. Our network throughout NSW allows us to combine internal resources and harness a vast employee skillset, all of which helps us deliver key projects and secure outstanding content.
ABOUT THE ROLEThis role will primarily support the Commercial team to deliver on key objectives and priorities. You will be responsible for supporting the General Manager - Commercial and senior team members with day-to-day administrative tasks and diary/email management. Working closely with the event operations and catering team, you will manage non-event day commercial bookings for digital and stadium assets. Additionally, this role focuses on driving, monitoring, and assessing event day inventory lists, key deliverables and key performance indicators as outlined in the relevant contracts to maximise customer experience and drive growth.
ABOUT YOUYou will be a proactive problem solver, with a key focus on stakeholder management. You'll demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a collaborative attitude.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Sports Management and/or Administration, Commercial or FinancialPrevious exposure to ticketing systems desirable, otherwise proficiency in software systemsCareer development opportunities and progressionAccess to the Sporting Club of Sydney facilitiesOther benefits associated with working with major sport and entertainment venuesTeam-oriented culturePlease note: Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents to be considered and will be required to undertake a National Police Clearance check.
