5 months plus extensionsBased in Canberra, ACTMust be an Australian Citizen with NV1 security clearanceWe are looking for a Commercial/Contracts Manager for our Defence client in Canberra. Previous Defence experience and required security clearance is mandatory for this role.You will have:Demonstrated experience in management of complex, dynamic, high value contracts.Demonstrated knowledge in Defence policy and Commonwealth regulation relating to procurement, including PGPA Act, Commonwealth Procurement Rules.Demonstrated knowledge with the Defence Contracting templates ASDEFCON (Complex Materiel) Vol 2 and ASDEFCON (Support).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience in contract management and administration on behalf of the government.Experience of working in a multi-functional integrated project team is highly desirable.Experience in a Defence project would be beneficial.Understanding of military Command and Control technologies such as Tactical Data.Formal qualifications in contracting and/or procurement – e.g Cert IV or higher.Please contact Nikhita Verma on or for further discussions.#J-18808-Ljbffr
