Category Specialist – Allied Health ServicesJoin icare's Strategic Partnering and Performance teamPermanent full time role | Open to candidates from Sydney, Parramatta, Gosford, Wollongong, NewcastleSalary GRADE 9/10, $120K + super, plus benefitsAbout the RoleThe Category Specialist – Allied Health Services is responsible for the end-to-end management of assigned Nominal Insurer (NI) and Treasury Managed Fund (TMF) scheme third party service provider (TPSP) portfolios and contracts for Allied Health Services.DutiesAs a Category Specialist – Allied Health Services, you will:Maintain a constant emphasis on the core vision of icare, making the complex simple so our schemes deliver better outcomes for those we serve.Be responsible for and own the performance of the assigned portfolios by defining their role within icare, developing value propositions, and providing trusted, expert advice through data analysis and industry engagement.Lead the optimisation of assigned categories through innovative trials and continuous improvement with stakeholders and suppliers.Develop and implement strategic portfolio plans and initiatives to meet business needs and enhance stakeholder engagement.Build and maintain strong stakeholder and supplier relationships to understand business outcomes and provide expert recommendations.Skills & ExperienceDemonstrated extensive experience in portfolio/category management or equivalent in a large and complex service industry organisation.Minimum 5 years' portfolio/category management experience or equivalent.Commercial mindedness.Strong knowledge of portfolio/category and stakeholder/supplier relationship management.Ability to analyse data and develop accurate conclusions to support assigned portfolios/categories.CultureWe know our strength comes from the diversity of our people and encourage individuals with different experiences and backgrounds to apply.
