Commercial Specialist (12 Month Contract)Full-timeWithin Western Australia, Sodexo is responsible for the operations, maintenance, and refurbishment of non-process infrastructure to clients within the mining and oil & gas sector.
Sodexo plays a critical role in ensuring the resource sector can operate by providing quality catering, hospitality, and facilities maintenance services.We have a unique role available for a Commercial Specialist to join our team in our WA office located in Balcatta on a 12 month fixed term contract, with the possibility to extend.
The objective of this position would be to ensure that our site adherence to national controls, policies, procedures, provides guidance, support and risk management to the IFMS Operations team with regards to commercial matters.
The position may have ad hoc travel to our client sites across Australia.What you will be doingManage contracts & variations of IFMS contractDevelop and manage, in conjunction with key stakeholders, costing-commercial modelling to be turned into commercial variation/claim.Develop and propose commercial strategy for client negotiationEnsure timely and accurate submission of commercial claims in accordance with provisions of contract.With the support of operations, finance & management, to identify contract deviation and turn it into commercial variation.Develop and maintain positive client and stakeholder relationshipsAttend regular Contract Performance Meetings as appropriateMonitor Customer Client satisfactionEnsure assigned deadlines and customer driven timeframes are metServe as liaison between internal operations and business end-users to provide analysis and reporting to support business decisionsUndertake operational financial analyses and provide recommendations to improve financial performanceWhat you will needMin 5 years' experience in commercial roles, preferably in remote site or multi-service industry.Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)Exposure to contract management is a plusProficient skills in MS Office applications such as Word and Outlook with a high proficiency required in use of ExcelDemonstrable strong analytical skills, careful attention to detail and investigative mindsetThis is an opportunity to join a high performing team within a global business and an industry leader in the delivery of operations, maintenance, and refurbishment of non-process infrastructure to our clients.
