About the Team Within our Queensland Property practice we have a team, led by Partner, Ron Eames and Special Counsel, Grace Wimberley who work with our clients across a range of capital transactions, energy transition projects, waste and hydrogen projects and finance transactions (project, corporate and property).
The clients the team works with include international and domestic renewable energy developers, listed real estate investment trusts, large commercial property owners, property developers and hotel and resort owners. The team has seen excellent growth in recent times and as such we are looking to add further to the team.
About the Role In joining the team you will be afforded the opportunity to further develop your career working across a range of transactions including:
Acquisitions and disposals of real estate (commercial, industrial and retail) Hotels and resorts transactions Energy transition/renewable energy projects including wind, solar & battery and waste to hydrogen projects Joint ventures Titling advice for residential and commercial property developments Environmental offset arrangements Infrastructure agreements Regulatory approvals Foreign Investment approval advice and applications Whilst a Brisbane based role you can expect to be involved in transactions across Australia and with not only Australian but also overseas clients. About You The ideal candidate will possess experience in some, if not all, of the following:
4-7 years post admission experience practising as a commercial property lawyer (including exposure to renewable energy matters) Strong drafting skills Excellent commercial acumen Exposure to running files alongside senior lawyers as well as autonomously Keen interest in mentoring and training junior team members You must be comfortable working closely with clients An eagerness to get involved with industry events and business development opportunities Capable of juggling multiple matters and prioritising effectively Strong interpersonal and communication skills Who We Are Holding Redlich is a large national commercial law firm with offices across Australia.
