The team Our partner, Ron Eames and special counsel, Grace Wimberley are looking for a passionate property lawyer to join the thriving property team.
The team works across a range of capital transactions, energy transition projects, waste and hydrogen projects and finance transactions (project, corporate and property).
The clients the team works with include international and domestic renewable energy developers, listed real estate investment trusts, large commercial property owners, property developers and hotel and resort owners.

The role In joining the team you will be afforded the opportunity to further develop your career working across a range of transactions including:
Acquisitions and disposals of real estate (commercial, industrial and retail)
Hotels and resorts transactions
Energy transition/renewable energy projects including wind, solar & battery and waste to hydrogen projects
Joint ventures
Titling advice for residential and commercial property developments
Environmental offset arrangements
Infrastructure agreements
Regulatory approvals
Foreign Investment approval advice and applications
Whilst a Brisbane based role you can expect to be involved in transactions across Australia and with not only Australian but also overseas clients.
Your skills and experience The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with property clients and more specifically will possess some, if not all, of the following:
1-2 years PAE
Experience practising as a property lawyer with a keen interest in expanding your practice
Strong drafting skills
You must be comfortable working closely with clients
Capable of juggling multiple matters and prioritising effectively
Excellent commercial acumen
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-driven and ability to meet deadlines
Willingness to undertake pro bono work as required
