About the Role
As a Commercial Performance Manager in our Consumer Cards team, you'll play a key role in optimizing ANZ's consumer credit card acquisition performance. The role will collaborate across the consumer cards team and value stream partners to achieve acquisition targets and metrics (mix, CPUs, CPAAs, etc.) to drive acquisition efficiency. You will conduct PIRs and analysis on acquisition campaigns to inform planning processes, offer design, channel, and product mix to deliver on CCPL and EDB strategy. There will be a focus on optimizing acquisition performance in collaboration with marketers, product managers, acquisition managers, and key partners to deliver impactful, measurable, sustainable outcomes. This role will also support key acquisition optimization projects.

What will your day look like? Forecast and monitor credit card acquisition performance Track and evaluate campaign results, identify business opportunities, and make recommendations for future campaigns Conduct strategic analyses of segments, products, and pricing to understand customer experience and improve business strategy and acquisition efficiency Support development of hypotheses for marketing/targeting tests, drive analyses of results, and communicate insights Collect, analyze, and interpret complex channel, consumer, and transactional datasets to derive insights Develop reports and visualizations to communicate strategic opportunities and trade-off options to stakeholders Establish measurement framework for product, offer, and channel A/B testing Examine consumer behavior and leverage insights to recommend growth strategies Work with internal and external partners to plan campaign details and prepare data for execution Develop trusted partnerships with Marketing, Product, Analytics, and key third-party partners Monitor market trends, research consumer markets, and competitors' activities Support the delivery of key acquisition optimization projects What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, and experience working with complex datasets Ability to translate data into actionable insights and reports Analytical and problem-solving skills to understand the root cause of performance issues Commercial acumen and experience in Acquisition or Credit Origination Processes Understanding of cost and revenue drivers and credit card levers Project delivery experience Demonstrated experience working closely with senior stakeholders Effective communication skills Financial services experience Ability to critically review and challenge business cases and product proposals Strong relationship building skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
