This role is within our Talent Agency, W Sports & Media (WSM) , which proudly represents a diverse roster of top-tier talent, including Olympians , AFL/W stars , MotoGP icons , tennis champions , and football legends . The Role: As the Commercial Partnerships Manager for W Sports & Media , you will play a pivotal role in forging and managing new commercial relationships that generate value for both our talent and brand partners alike. You'll be a genuine hunter, responsible for identifying new business opportunities, negotiating high-impact deals, and driving revenue growth across the talent agency.

What You'll Be Doing: Lead the process of identifying, negotiating, and securing commercial partnerships that align with the goals of our talent and partners. Utilise your network of contacts within brands, as well as marketing and experiential agencies, to create valuable opportunities. Develop and execute commercial strategies that position our talent for long-term success in the market. Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying new revenue streams and partnership opportunities for WSM's talent. Collaborate with Pickstar to integrate its cutting-edge software and insights to enhance partnership outcomes. Drive creative partnership formats that keep our talent fresh, relevant, and connected to new audiences. Lead and inspire a team of talent agents and managers, providing guidance, motivation and support to achieve performance targets. Work cross-functionally with Pickstar and internal teams to ensure alignment on commercial strategies and outcomes. Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within your team, empowering them to thrive. Client-Centric Focus: Advocate for our talent, understanding their brand, passions, audience, and long-term commercial ambitions. Build meaningful, long-term partnerships that deliver value for both talent and brand partners, ensuring successful and enduring relationships. Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote WSM and its talent. Reporting & Performance: Track and report on partnership performance metrics, ensuring commercial goals are met or exceeded. Provide regular insights and updates to Pickstar's executive leadership team on the performance and impact of commercial partnerships. Supportive Team: You'll be fully supported by Pickstar's Senior VP of Partnerships and WSM's passionate team of Talent Agents, Managers and Coordinators.
Who You Are: Experienced: You have significant experience in a commercial or partnerships role, ideally within the sports, advertising or entertainment sectors. Well-Connected: You bring an established network of contacts directly within brands, as well as across marketing and experiential agencies. Strategic & Creative: You're skilled at developing bold, innovative marketing and sponsorship strategies that align with talent goals and deliver measurable value to advertisers. A Natural Leader: You have a proven track record of leading teams, inspiring others, and delivering outstanding results.
