About the role Based in our Head office in Essendon Fields, an excellent career opportunity exists for a Commercial Operations Analyst who has a strong desire to contribute and participate in the exciting opportunities arising within a dynamic, technology business with growth and expansion plans.
Working collaboratively with key internal stakeholders, this position is responsible for supporting the Commercial Team, Project Managers and Finance Team in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance, managing sales pipeline data, invoicing and providing essential support in the preparation of quotations and financial models.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Solution Design and Bid Manager to maintain and update sales pipeline records, including accurate forecasts, dates and values.Ensure the CRM system is up-to-date with accurate deal information, stages and probability adjustments, and is properly used by the Commercial Team.Analyze the sales pipeline to track deal progress, identify key opportunities or risks and provide insights to Commercial and Finance Teams.Lead the financial modelling for RFP responses, including analysis of hardware, software licenses, SaaS charges and support/maintenance costs.Prepare detailed reports on potential revenues, broken down by probability, expected close date and deal size.Coordinate with the Commercial and Finance Teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing for hardware, software licenses, SaaS charges and support/maintenance deliverables.Assist in preparing and reviewing quotations for RFP responses.Track KPI's such as sales cycle length, win rates and deal size.Provide visualizations and presentations to leadership, showing how the sales pipeline impacts financial and operational planning.Conduct scenario planning, running revenue models based on the pipeline and analyze deal risks that could impact closing dates or revenue projections.Skills and Experience: Experience:Must be an Australian Citizen or have Permanent Residency.5+ years relevant experience in a commercial or financial role within the IT industry.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modelling, Word and PowerPoint.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Familiarity using ERP systems.Familiarity with hardware, software licensing, SaaS and support/maintenance financial structures.Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to maintain excellent relationships with a range of key stakeholders.Good organisational skills with an ability to plan and prioritise competing work requirements and work towards tight deadlines.Adaptable and able to work autonomously and in dynamic, fast paced team environment.Proactive and reactive problem solving skills with an ability to "think outside the box".Bonus Points for the Following: Experience working on RFP responses or in a bid environment.Benefits and Perks: An attractive salary package will be negotiated to attract the most suitable candidate for this role.Ample free parking at our Essendon Fields office.Hybrid working arrangements.We are offering an excellent career opportunity to contribute and participate, in a dynamic, growing, leading-edge technology business, with growth and expansion plans.Elenium has a strong commitment to its people and their development and offers a fast paced, supportive team environment.Application Instructions: To apply for this position, e-mail your CV to our Human Resources Manager, Michael Hummel, at ******
