We have existing experts in the team ready and willing to train you up.Position ObjectiveContract administration for sales gas marketing operations across Australia. Responsible for ensuring financial aspects of the contract are adhered to.Pathway to a commercial marketing and trading role for interested candidates.Key Accountabilities:Understand, implement and track the operational terms of our sales gas contracts across AustraliaWork with our front-office trading teams to ensure we get paid (or pay) the right amount – across gas sales, gas purchases, and gas pipeline transportation.Ensure contractual credit terms such as prepayments and bank guarantees are in place.Monitor all communications from customers, suppliers, and regulators.Support the business integration of digital solutions for counterparty management.Maintain sound document control.Make a positive contribution to the team culture.About youIdeally holding Tertiary qualifications in Economics, Commerce, Accounting, Commercial Law, Computing, Engineering or other technical degree, the successful candidate will possess demonstrable experience in the use of Excel models, along with strong numerical skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities.In addition, any experience in or exposure to the following, will be looked upon favourably:Contract administration, budgeting, and variance analysis.Commercial or customer facing experience.Experience working in a gas and/or liquids business would be an advantage, but not essential.Experience in finance or back-office related work. Strong people skills with an ability to communicate well and engender co-operation with internal and external counterparties.This role will suit vocal, inquisitive and proactive individuals with exposure to large complex organisations such as 'The Big 4', Oil & Gas and the wider resources sector.If the role sounds of interest, we want to hear from you – apply now!Supporting a Diverse Workforce Santos acknowledges that we operate on the traditional lands of Aboriginal people.
