What's involved Provide contractual and commercial advice for Patrol Boat projects, including interpreting and administering contract documents and drafting/responding to contractual correspondence.Maintain and update key project registers, including preparing and submitting Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Contract Change Proposals (CCPs), invoices, and other reports or claims.Attend contract meetings, actively participate, and record accurate and comprehensive minutes.Manage contract billing requirements, ensuring compliance with financial processes and timelines.Assist Program and Project Managers with budgeting, forecasting, and preparing costing proposals to support project objectives.Liaise directly with Program and Project Managers to provide commercial and contractual support.You'll need Essential Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.Ability to gain Baseline Security Clearance (Australian Citizen)Bachelor's degree (commerce / business, commercial law, Finance)Commercial and Contract documents managementStrong business acumen.Effective Communication SkillsAbility to influence stakeholdersAttention to detailDesirable Exposure to basic financial modelling for cost building and cost monitoringExposure to contract or project management, experience with project variation claimsDemonstrated understanding of the ASDEFCON Suite of ContractsWhy Austal Competitive compensation and benefits package.Professional development and training opportunities.A supportive and dynamic work environment.Opportunities for career advancement within our growing organisation.Our global team is guided by a universal set of values that describe the focus of our efforts.
