About the roleThe Commercial Manager is accountable to the Head of Commercial Finance for the provision of financial and commercial management to support and partner the relevant divisions. This role leads the commercial decision support, management reporting and analysis, and budgeting and forecasting for the regulated business. This role works closely with the Executive Leadership Team and senior management ensuring the financial and commercial objectives are achieved.
Key Accountabilities Oversee the month end close process for P&L and capex projects and programs.Responsible for providing accurate and timely advice and guidance regarding the financial performance of each division. Coordinate the production of monthly performance reporting that reflects the progress of key priority initiatives and monitors performance against targets and objectives.Proactively drive action to ensure divisions achieve allocated budget and executing committed initiatives.Provide business partnering to key stakeholders and foster a 'trusted advisor and partner' relationship through providing commercial insight and analysis to support their decision making.Lead the preparation of annual budgets, financial KPIs, forecasts. Ensure efficient allocation of resources and that all actions are within budgets and advise the accountable budget owners of any deviations.Support and provide financial input to any regulatory reporting or revenue determination when required.Analysis of revenue data and systems, including ownership of the machine learning forecasting model, to improve the accuracy of revenue reporting and forecasts.Assist business units with understanding and interpreting accounting policies and procedures.About youAn energised individual who demonstrates a positive attitude with supportive and professional behaviours that align with Endeavour's culture, with the ability to engage confidently with our team, customers and stakeholders.
Experience Advanced professional with experience leading a small finance team in a similar role.Demonstrated experience leading teams to deliver effective business partnering, financial accounting, management and reporting.Experience within the Energy / Electrical, Professional Services, Infrastructure and/or Utilities Industry is not essential.At Endeavour Energy, having a diverse and inclusive workplace makes us better, safer, and stronger.
