This critical role is based in our Townsville office, and the successful applicant will be a Townsville resident or someone wishing to return to the region.
We will offer relocation assistance to move back to Townsville for this opportunity.ABOUT THE ROLELocated in Townsville, the Commercial Manager Projects plays a crucial role within the organisation, providing support to our contract owners across the projects team.
Leveraging your projects experience, you will oversee key contract outcomes, ensuring our teams have the services they need to maximise revenue opportunities and drive sustainable, innovative growth and profitability.
This role is an excellent opportunity for a Townsville local or someone seeking to return to the area, as well as a fantastic chance for someone looking to relocate to North Queensland to advance their career in the commercial sector.Responsibilities of the role include:Develop, lead and execute category plans based on research and analysis to optimise value-for-money outcomes that meet stakeholder needs and business expectationsDevelop and implement sourcing strategies to meet business needs, enhance stakeholder engagement, and challenge and motivate providers to optimise outcomesLead negotiations on high-impact, complex supply arrangements and contract issues to deliver better commercial outcomesIdentify and manage commercial, contractual, operational, financial, reputational, ethical and supply chain risks to minimise negative impacts on our businessProvide expert commercial advice to key stakeholdersProvide commercial advice to support contract owners in contract management, e.g.
