Job DescriptionAbout the role: In this role you will business partner with a range of stakeholders including the EGM Primary Processing, Primary Processing GMs, GM By-products and individual Plant Managers to provide high level financial support for Inghams' Primary Processing and By-products function.
This role will support 5 manufacturing facilities across Australia.
The successful candidate will have extensive manufacturing accounting knowledge with flexibility to complete both transactional and value add tasks as part of the Commercial Team.
Key responsibilities: Business partner with senior stakeholders across Inghams' primary processing sites, looking at key drivers of cost and supporting Operations with continuous improvement and commercial recommendationsLead, coach and develop a high performing team of seven who are geographically dispersedPrepare budgets, quarterly forecasts and financialsProvide analysis of operating performance and identification of savings opportunityReview and maintain site standardsSupport By-products and Ingredients in Commercial dealsAssist in preparation of site capex proposals and complete post implementation reviewsMonitor balance sheet accounts ensuring accuracy of financial recordsConduct Site Yield benchmarking reviewCoordinate SKU profitability reviews along with Sales, Marketing, Commercial Managers and OpsKey requirements: At least 5-7 years' experience working as Finance lead supporting manufacturing operations, preferably food FMCGProven business partnering skillsStrong communication, interpersonal, analytical and technology skillsAbility to work in a fast paced and complex business environmentProficient in using multiple management information systemsAdvanced Excel skillsWilling to travel interstateSelf-starter, highly motivated, takes ownership and looks to value addSelf-assured verbal and written communicator, with a good stakeholder engagement skillsetAn analytical and critical thinker, particularly in the context of problem solvingHigh attention to detail, the ability to access data, analyse the information and apply business and professional knowledgeAn enthusiastic team playerAbility to meet deadlines and manage conflicting work priorities in a fast-paced environmentWe're looking for people who are curious, caring, courageous and committed to join us; people who want to contribute their best work every single day and continue delivering deliciously good food that ' s … Always Good!
