"We're seeking a dynamic Commercial Manager to lead our Commercial team and ensure RAC continues to deliver exceptional value to our members and stakeholders.Reporting to the General Manager Legal and Commercial, you will lead a small team to deliver outstanding commercial expertise in contractual, procurement, supplier, and governance activities.
You will play a key role in driving RAC's Commercial Strategy and fostering improved commercial outcomes, innovation, and value creation across the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coach the Commercial team to achieve strategic objectives.Develop and implement contract and procurement management policies to improve outcomes.Ensure compliance with commercial policies, drive cost reductions, and lead supplier category management.Enhance the commercial acumen of the team and RAC staff involved in contract management.Supervise bids and proposals, offering strategic support and recommendations.Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, customers, and suppliers.Lead commercial negotiations for contracts and property leases.Oversee audits and follow up on findings promptly.What We're Looking ForExpertise in commercial contracts, property leases, and risk management.Demonstrated success in contract negotiation, analysis, and management.Strong background in bids, tenders, and procurement activities.Experience leading and motivating teams.Proven ability in supplier and category management.Deep understanding of commercial law and complex project management.Strong communication, engagement, and relationship-building skills.Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.What can we offer you?A workplace culture where our people feel valued, respected, and empowered.Work in flexible ways that meet work/life commitments and support wellbeing.Be part of a purpose-led organisation that gives back to the WA community.An environment that values ongoing career development.Free Roadside Assistance and discounts on RAC products and services including Insurance, Holiday Parks and Resorts, Security, Finance, and Auto Services.Opportunities for community engagement and corporate volunteering.We are looking for an enthusiastic professional who will thrive in a culture of continuous improvement.
