DescriptionFull Time Permanent OpportunityHybridBase Yourself in Sydney, Brisbane or MelbourneAbout the Role:We are seeking a Commercial Manager working with our Construction and Commercial Teams. This role will shape the business's commercial approach and provide detailed commercial support to the Construction Project Managers and Asset Managers in their delivery of Construction & Asset Management Agreements (CAMA). This role is required to meet deadlines and work under pressure with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.About RESRES is the world's largest independent renewable energy company. We are proud of the 21 million tonnes of carbon offset each year by our global portfolio of renewable energy projects.Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Support Construction Project Managers and Asset Managers in overseeing and administering contracts to ensure compliance with both CAMA and legal requirements.Identify, assess and mitigate commercial risks, and implement risk management strategies.Lead the procurement process, negotiating contract terms, pricing, conditions, and selecting relevant and appropriate contractors and suppliers.Assist in managing budget, cost estimates, and the preparation of financial and board reports for senior management and relevant clients.Lead and manage the commercial requirements for the project delivery process, providing commercial support to ensure the CAMA projects are structured and delivered in alignment with the owners' objectives.Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, facilitating relevant commercial meetings and providing regular updates on project status.Skills & Experience:Experience in large-scale construction, preferably within Renewables.Knowledge of energy markets and the role that renewable energy developments play in the transition to Net Zero.Strategic, Commercial and Technical skills including an understanding of energy value chain economics, financial evaluation, business case preparation and interpreting complex data.Ability to structure and negotiate commercial deals which deliver the best value.Degree in either a numerate or business subject.What we offerAt RES you can expect to join a warm and welcoming team in a business that wants you to succeed.
