Commercial Manager

Our client is a high growth renewable energy group with considerable operations across APAC, and an expanding Australian business headquartered in Brisbane.This dynamic business employs a specialist team in renewable energy development, and now have on offer a rare newly created opportunity for a strong Commercial Manager.Providing commercial leadership, the Commercial Manager will lead high-quality proposals for clients, manage commercial negotiations, and contribute to the strategic initiatives in Australia.Key Responsibilities: Identify business development opportunities aligned with corporate strategy.Manage development and commercial activities.
Lead internal team members and external specialists to collaborate and contribute to business development opportunities.Oversee tender processes, origination activities, and the delivery of high-quality proposals to customers.Partner closely with the leadership team to develop strategies for the Australian business.Support M&A and Joint Venture opportunities through research and analysis, collaborate with the internal team on project acquisition and due diligence, and provide advice and recommendations to senior management.Formulate project structures and mechanisms to manage contract-specific risks with support from the legal, finance, and investment teams.Pre-requisites:5 to 10 years' experience in commercial analysis, negotiation and contract management, corporate finance, or forecasting and analysis.Strong contract negotiation experience and financial, economic, and contract analysis skills.Working knowledge in the commercial side of renewable energy, oil & gas, electricity & power, or utilities.Ability to maintain and develop strong, sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and manage multi-disciplinary project teams.This role will be interviewing in the coming weeks, so please apply or reach out as soon as possible.
