Tower 5, when complete will be one of the largest skyscrapers in Brisbane and the tallest of the Queen's Wharf project.About The RolesWe are seeking interest for commercial roles including Contract Administrator, Senior Contract Administrator and Contract Manager. These roles, reporting to the Senior Project Manager, are responsible for Contractual administration of contracts/projects, ensuring they are delivered in accordance with contractual obligations and business requirements ultimately ensuring that the interests of FEC are protected and opportunities maximised.What You'll Be DoingYou will be part of the construction delivery team ensuring the commercial objectives of the project are managed and delivered. You will support in the procurement and management of sub-contractor packages ensuring all necessary documentation is distributed, processed, and accurately recorded with appropriate approvals. This will involve reviewing and processing progress claims, variations, and closing out final accounts, as well as gathering monthly cost reporting and forecasting for the project (Queens Wharf Brisbane, Towers 5 & 6).Some tasks associated with this role include:Management of contractual notices EoT, Claims, Delays, variations, etc.Review of all correspondence for accuracy and tacit claims and/or implied entitlement to time/cost, and the issuance of correspondence to formally reject and/or clarify.Drive procurement administration, analysis, vetting etc of all FEC suppliers, contractors, consultants etc.Review & commentary on construction program to ensure that the current approved status is understood.Support the review of the Design Change process to ensure FEC does not inherit risk from proposed changes to design.Management of Contractor deliverables.Cost control, project costs reports, risk and opportunity admin etc.Lead the contractor procurement process to drive maximum value.Maximise CAPEX value through the provision of thorough opportunities to offshore manufacturers.Support the Project Team in briefing and managing consultants.Ensure Document Control Systems (DCS) are developed, maintained and updated.Develop strategic briefings for key internal stakeholders and be prepared to test suggested dispute options and incorporate feedback.Assess key risks and prepare mitigation strategies – this includes potential disruption impacts, OHS components, approvals and financial risk.Manage budget estimates and influence design & procurement methods accordingly including general quantity surveying tasks as required.Assist the project team with financial accountability for cost planning and cost reporting.Your ProfileSystems:Advanced MS Office programs.Key Skills:Self-motivated, organized, proactive, mature.Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and independently.Qualifications:Relevant tertiary qualification.Experience:Experience in new construction.Cost management system admin and control.Cost control/ profit management / risk & opportunity development & control.Why work for usStrong salary package based on experience.Be a part of the transformation of Queens Wharf!Friendly, social culture.Access to discounts across our property development, restaurant & hotel business.DiversityWe value diversity and aim to build an inclusive environment that champions, embraces and respects differences.
