This is a new position backed by an established legal team that was created from company growth.
This role requires a hard-working individual with strong communication and negotiation skills that can demonstrate excellence across Commercial and Property Law matters.
Day to day requirements of the role:
This role will require the successful applicant to engage with business leaders to meet key commercial outcomes and provide sound 'best practice' advice that can be relied on when making business decisions.
Day to day duties include but are not limited to:
Manage Commercial Litigation matters from end to end, on occasion briefing external legal counsel.
Manage Property and Commercial Contract disputes.
Provide understanding for Intellectual Property Law.
Work alongside Human Resources with regards to employment law matters, policy updates, industry requirements and employment/award updates.
Manage disputes related to debt recovery and working alongside the Accounts Receivable team.
Mediate disputes relating to Consumer Law .
Review and provide advice on Property Acquisitions and Contracts of Sale .

Qualifications in law (Bachelor's Degree minimum) 3+ years PQE Unrestricted Practicing Certificate Experience in a consumer-focused environment is highly desirable In-depth understanding of all areas of law including but not limited to property, commercial, consumer, and employment law.
Outside the box thinker, be resourceful and provide creative legal solutions.
Clear communication is a must .
