This firm acts for household brand clients in the IT and Telco sectors as well as government clients (both Federal and State).
This partner's experience and pedigree are impressive and they are known for working on major IT & Telco contracts as procurement and probity work.
A flavour of the work will include:
Software and SaaS agreementsM&A transactions for clients in the IT industryE-commerce and off-shore outsourcingHigh value contracts for government clientsDrafting tender and associated tender documentsAdvising on probity and procurement projectsAdvising on corporate governanceAdvising on privacy, data protection and cyber securityAdvising on competition and trade practices issuesGeneral commercial and corporate advice to clients in the IT, telecommunications and media industriesThis is a 'hands on' role where you will work closely with the partner and their clients.
You will be given client responsibility and as this team is not top heavy, there is a genuine career path that can be fast tracked for the ambitious candidate.
About YouYou will have:
Around 3 to 10 years pae in the area of contracts or commercial law, gained from private practice, in-house or governmentHighly desirable will be experience in ICT and/or digital lawExperience in procurement will be highly regardedStrong drafting and negotiation skillsAble to juggle competing deadlinesBe a team player but also be able to work autonomouslyEnthusiasm and a pro-active approach to your workBenefits & CultureOn offer is a competitive market salary as well as flexible working arrangements/WFH.
