Commercial Lawyer 3-6 PAE About the Role We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer with 3-6 years of post-admission experience (PAE) to join our thriving practice.

You'll be working closely with a diverse range of clients, including businesses and private entities, providing high-quality advice on a variety of complex commercial matters.
Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: Advise on Business Transactions : Guide clients through the process of buying or selling businesses, ensuring due diligence and smooth transaction management.
Draft and Negotiate Business Contracts : Provide expert advice on commercial contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating terms to best serve client interests.
Manage Shareholder Agreements and Transactions : Assist clients in structuring shareholder arrangements, conducting buyouts, or navigating complex shareholder disputes.
Corporate Advisory Services : Offer strategic advice on corporate governance, restructuring, and compliance matters, ensuring clients meet their legal obligations.
Intellectual Property (IP) Law (optional): Support clients with IP protection, registration, and management, ensuring they maximize their IP assets.
Conveyancing (optional but desired): Assist with property transactions, including sales, purchases, and lease agreements.
Leasing Matters : Advise clients on leasing agreements, lease disputes, and property management, with a focus on commercial leasing.
Tax, Planning, and Environment Law (optional): Provide guidance on tax implications, planning approvals, and environmental considerations for business operations.
What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: 3-6 years of PAE in commercial law, with a strong foundation in buy/sell transactions and corporate advisory .
Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and managing shareholder agreements .
Exposure to IP law , conveyancing , tax , and environmental planning is highly regarded, but not essential.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering technical excellence.
A proactive and adaptable approach to managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
