Commercial Housekeeper

The Role We are currently seeking motivated and experienced Commercial Housekeepers to join our growing team and help us expand our business.
As a key member of the Beyond Broome team, you will play a critical role in delivering top-tier hospitality services, contributing to our success, and helping create memorable experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities 1.     Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas according to company standards.
2.     Make beds and ensure proper arrangement of linens.
3.     Restock mini-bars and other guest amenities in rooms.
4.     Replenish linens, towels, and guest supplies while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
5.     Inspect rooms for neatness, cleanliness, and arrangement after cleaning.
6.     Ensure all areas meet high standards of hygiene and sanitisation.
7.     Handle waste and recycling disposal procedures.
8.     Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive guest experience.
9.     Maintain housekeeping equipment and report any maintenance issues.
10. Collaborate with fellow team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements 1.      Qualifications: Relevant qualification in hospitality or cleaning operation is recommended, however, not necessary.
2.      Skills: Familiarity with cleaning products, tools, and equipment such as vacuums, cleaning agents, and disinfectants, as well as their proper usage and safety protocols.
3.      Experience: 1-2 years of experience as a housekeeper in hotels, resorts, or commercial cleaning.
4.      Physical stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks (e.g., standing, lifting, and bending) for extended periods.
5.      Attention to Detail: Strong focus on cleanliness and neatness.
6.      Time Management: Capable of working efficiently under time constraints.
7.      Communication Skills: Basic communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and interact with guests and team members professionally.
8.      Flexibility: Willing to work on weekends, holidays, and during peak seasons.
9.      Languages: Additional language skills are an advantage but not required.
